The program itself is divided into three main catagories;
aerospace education, the CAP cadet program, and
emergency services.

human suffering. Cadets can train to become qualified

Aerospace Education:
The program has been created to teach
CAP cadets and senior members a strong knowledge of
aerospace activities. This is taught through both
classroom lessons and hands-on activities. Members
can also participate in Orietation Flights on a variety
of different helicopters, planes, and other aircraft.
Cadet Program:
The cadet program allows students from
ages 12 to18 to learn life skills through a squadron
setting. Members are taught aerospace education, participate
in search and rescue missions, learn about military
lifestyles, and are taught both leadership and followership.
Through moving up in rank, cadets are taught dicipline,
integrity, and respect through physical activities,
drill, and classroom activites. The Civil Air Patrol
teaches life lessons and provides members with some
of the most rewarding experiences.
