may be carried subject to team leader approval and your ability
to secure and carry it.
On your person:
-Complete BDU uniform with BDU cap. The cover may
be replaced by a hard hat or colored cap based on mission
needs.
-Notebook and Pencil
-ALL CAP indentification, including 101 card, 76
card, First Aid card, etc.
-watch
-Hankerchief or tissues
-Vest, reflective, orange
-comb or brush
-Ground Team Member's handbook
-Signal mirror
-Whistle
-Pocket or utility knife
Day Pack(all of the following must be sealed in ziplock
bags):
-First Aid Kit (which includes the following: 2 aniseptic
clensing pads, aniseptic ointment, 6 Band-Aids, moleskin,
roller bandage, 2 safety pins, 4 gauze pads, 1 triangular
Band-Aid, first aid tape, personal medication(be sure to
inform team leader of what you have and where you carry
it), and rubber surgical gloves.)
-Survival Kit (which includes the following: duct tape,
leaf bag, 12 wooden waterproofed matches,
math container with striking surface, 1 chemical
green light stick, 50' of nylon chord)
-SAR Equiptment (which includes the following: change
of socks, flagging tape, flashlight with spare
batteries and bulb, spare flashlight, insect
repellent, lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen lotion, tissue
paper, leather work gloves, interviewing
forms, 4 moist towelettes, calling card or cellphone)
-2 meals
-Shelter Material (poncho)
-Coat for appropiate climate
-Poncho
-2 quarts of water (canteen or camel pack)
-Compass pouch containing a compass
Leader's Equiptment:(only required of Ground Team Leaders)
-Protracter and ruler

-pencil with eraser and alcohol pens (2 colors) with eraser
