Every year the encampment
experience provides cadets with leadership development, knowledge
about CAP, and dicipline through its activities and atmosphere.
The encampment is a rigorous seven day event in which cadets are
broken into three flights. Throughout the seven days the cadets
are taught drill and dicipline, go through leadership and aerospace
classes, participate in early morning physical training, and participate
in special activities. You may look at the slideshow on the home
page for an idea of last year's encampment.
This year cadets have
the option to attend one of two units. They may attend BASIC encampment,
or for those who have already attended BASIC, may attend the Rhode
Island Leadership Academy (RICLA).
