Every year, Rhode Island cadets and senior members are invited to attend two banquets. The local wing banquet and the regional banquets are held every year to review the past year and reward exceptional Civil Air Patrol service.

Newport Composite is proud to have three cadets, C/ Ludgate, C/ Avila, and C/ Colley, all receive Commander's Commendations at the most recent Rhode Island Annual banquet.

Regional banquets are often held over two or three days and are hosted in a different city every year. It allows cadets and senior members from all over the North-East region to come together and learn about the accomplishments the region has made in the past year.
